History

Be Clear Co., Ltd. was established on June 2, 2025, through a corporate split from Okawari Limited.
Here, we introduce the journey of how “Be Clear” came to be.

■ Origin: Okawari Limited

Okawari Limited, the predecessor of Be Clear, was founded in Tottori Prefecture in 1989 by Kanetosi Hayashi, the father of current representative Toshinobu Hayashi.
For many years, it operated primarily in the cleaning industry, developing community-rooted businesses, and expanded into confectionery manufacturing in 2014.

■ Second Founding Period: Toshinobu Hayashi's Participation

Toshinobu Hayashi joined Okawari Limited Liability Company in 2019.
After building his career at IT companies in the Tokyo metropolitan area since graduating, he changed jobs in 2018 and returned to Tottori within less than a year with the goal of revitalizing the family business.
This marked the beginning of the challenge that would become the origin of today's Be Clear.

■ Launching a New Business: The Cross-Border E-Commerce Challenge

The first venture was a new overseas-focused business.
Utilizing eBay as a cross-border e-commerce platform, they sold Japanese miscellaneous goods, apparel, watches, brand bags, and more worldwide.
Among these, the response to “trading cards” was overwhelming. Within less than six months, the product mix rapidly shifted to focus primarily on trading cards.

■ Growth and Transformation: Relocating to Osaka and Expanding to Physical Stores

With the trading card export business firmly established, we relocated our base to Osaka in March 2022 to further enhance customer satisfaction.
The following June, in 2023, we opened “Card Shop GOTCHA!”.
This marked the business's entry into a new phase of expansion.

■ And Then, Be Clear

To evolve the expanding trading card business with more specialized and transparent management,
on June 2, 2025, the trading card business was spun off from Okawari Limited and a new company, “Be Clear Co., Ltd.”, was established.

■ The Future of Be Clear

Our company name “Be Clear” is identical to our mission statement “Be Clear.”
The trust we have earned through sincerity and transparency will undoubtedly elevate the social standing of the trading card industry.
We will be the protagonists of this change.
